DAy 1
Homeport for our Wander and Swim marvelous odyssey journey is in the town of Trogir. The old town Trogir is 5 km from the Split Airport and from 10:00 you can find us in the harbor to check-in and leave your luggage. From 12.30 you will be able to board on, and as soon everybody is onboard captain will set the course to magnificent Šibenik.
Lunch will be served during the navigation or when your captain anchors the ship for a swim break. Later in the afternoon, your ship will enter the narrow Šibenik channel, and the stunning panorama on rock-mounted town of Šibenik will open. When the Captain docks your boat, you will head up to a real urban hike tour. You will go on a sightseeing tour, with the local guide in the Šibenik Old Town, and climb up to 17th-century fortress where you will taste some local products, like olive oil, cheese, anchovies with capers and wine of course. If you are not a big fan of wine there will also be some good Šibenik Craft Beer. While you enjoy this food selection, the sun will slowly set down, creating one relaxing dreamscape. After the night falls down you can go and explore the vibrant medieval alley of the Šibenik Old Town, while your ship will wait for you down in the Šibenik port.
Day 2
In the morning your ship will leave the Šibenik port and head upstream on the Krka River towards a small town of Skradin. One powerful Ancient harbor, located deeply in the mainland Dalmatia, today serves as the main entry point to the Krka National Park. The whole day is reserved for exploration of this Gem of Nature. Krka National Park is most famous for the series of astonishing waterfalls around the biggest one called Skradinski Buk. Your walking tour will start underneath that waterfall, and you will go slowly uphill passing by the complete series of waterfalls cascades. On the top of these waterfalls is one mystical lake, called Visovac. There you will board on a small lake boat and head up to monastery island in the middle of the lake. Here you will enjoy the pastoral environment of the sacral buildings and animals which roam free on this tiny island. Afterward, the lake boat will take you to the next series of cascades around Roški waterfall, where you will circle around those cascades, and there the delicious lunch will be served. Roster and veal in wine with potatoes and Mediterranean herbs, prepared as Peka, or stell bell covered with hot coal will be your lunch. This millenniums old way of preparing food makes everything roasted yet heavenly tender. If you have some special diet restrictions, our host will prepare something delicious for you. The hardest part of the day will be the way back home to the boat, not because of the terrain, you will go only downhill, or length, maybe half an hour of walking, but because your belly will be full, and napping will be the only thing on your mind. But fear not, when you and your companion arrive back to Skradin, your Captain will issue an order to depart, and you will be able to lie on the sun deck and enjoy passing through the magnificent Krka River Canyon, all the way to the one bay on the island Murter. There you could swim for a while, and in the evening dinner will be served on board.
Day 3
After a morning swim in this beautiful bay of Podvrške, you will head up to explore hills around the town of Murter. This walk would round the bay of Murter, and take you to one konoba. During the walk, you will climb small hills around the bay, from which stretch a magnificent view. Also, this walk will take you through the historically protected area of Betina, wherein picturesque port famous gajeta boats are tied in. Konoba is a traditional Dalmatian restaurant, and in this island Konoba you will taste prime Dalmatian Dish, the roasted young lamb. This biblical food is usually served on very important occasions, like weddings or 100th birthdays. Luckily from this konoba you will have only 20minutes of walking on the sea promenade until you reach your boat. Afternoon navigation will take you to the ancient town of Zadar, where a local guide will wait for you to take you on the sightseeing tour around the UNESCO world heritage listed old town.
Day 4
Just when breakfast starts your Captain will turn on mighty ship engines and take you to a small island village called Preko, located on Ugljan Island. From Preko you will start your walking tour. In little less than two hours you will reach the fortress of Saint Michael, from where when the sky is clear you can see almost all the places you have visited or you will visit on this epic odyssey. Melancholy will mix with joy, calmness with excitation when you will climb to the guard tower in the ruins of the Saint Michale’s Fortress, where your eyesight will encompass the vast field of vision and your consciousness will start to see beyond the end limit. Right at this moment, you will see all the memories this fabulous journey had created inside your soul. You will return to your boat just in time for lunch, and after lunch, you will have some time to swim for a while. Afternoon voyage will take you to Molat Island, where you will go on a short walk to the remains of the WW2 concentration camp.
Day 5
Day five of this unforgettable journey brings two walks. Morning one and evening one, with swimming time in between. So, after you have breakfast, your Captain will move the boat to Island Rave, which is even smaller than island Molat. Here you will walk across the Island, and your Captain will pick you up in the other port, and take you to one beautiful bay so you could enjoy crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Lunch will be served on board, and the boat will later in the afternoon dock in the Telašćica Nature Park. Here you will do the second walk, around Salt Lake and up to cliffs. One extreme Geomorphological phenomenon will enable you not to get too tired but still to climb more than 80 meters high cliffs overlooking the open sea. After this walking tour, you could jump into the salt lake, where the water is three times saltier, or in a regular one. Dinner will be later served on board, while a beautiful sunset on Telešćica cliffs and a night sky full of stars will make you dream with your eyes wide open.
Day 6
After breakfast, your ship will leave the deep bay of Telašćica and Head up to the “Land of the Sea”, Kornati National Park. First, you will climb the highest peak of the National Park 232m high Metlina Peak. The world as it once was will be all around you, no electricity, no water pipeline, no stress, scattered stones, sheep, and the view. Heat may be high because of the extreme sun reflections, but an hour and a half will last the climb to your new life perspective. Once famous George Bernard Shaw visited Kornati Islands and wrote down: “On the last day of creation, God desired to crown His work, and thus created the Kornati Islands out of tears, stars and breath”. On top of the highest peak of the National Park, you will stop and contemplate, seeing your own past and the future. Slowly you will come down back to your boat and board on just to hop to the next island where your Captain will anchor and order a swim break, and lunch to be served. Later in the afternoon, your boat will dock at small Levrnaka island, where you will make one easy super scenic hike. Later dinner will be served on board, and overnight stay in Kornati National Park.
DAy 7
Early in the morning, your Captain will set the course to Žirje Island, where you will undertake your last ramble. The last and biggest island of the Šibenik archipelago sketches everything this odyssey strives to. Calmness, laid back way of living, real interaction amongst people, and raw nature. After the walking tour, you will go for a swim, and afterward, your ship will set course to Trogir and lunch will be served on the boat. The afternoon will be reserved for relaxation on the sun deck and sightseeing tour with the local guide. Trogir will be the third town you will visit with areas listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. After the sightseeing tour, your captain will organize a special Captains dinner to honor you and your travel companions for helping him to carry out one fabulous odyssey.
DAy 8
After breakfast, you will say goodbye to all your travel companions, your guides, your captain, and his crew, leave the boat in complete serenity, and live happily ever after.
