All COVID 19 situations are counted as forced circumstances and are fully refundable to our customers. This means that if you are COVID 19 positive and you cannot travel, or your country introduced travel ban, or Croatia introduced a travel ban or some of our family and friends is positive to COVID-19, so you have to stay at home, or any other related situation with COVID-19 you will receive the full amount you have already paid.
Because of such cancellation policy, we have changed the booking procedure to reduce transaction costs. For other situations cancellation policy remains the same as written in our Terms and Conditions, just because of the new booking procedure, payment deposit is no longer required, so there is nothing to be refunded.
To remain fully and truly a customer-oriented travel agency, we have adjusted our cancellation policy so all cancellations in relation to the COVID-19 situation are fully refundable.
To reduce the risk of financial loss caused by transaction costs of multiple and repeated refunds on canceled tours, we have to change the booking procedure. Simplified, you cannot pay any more ( and with payment confirm the booking) for our tours on our website. Instead, you will fill out and submit a booking form for the chosen tour.
After our office team verifies that all circumstances are met so the tour could be executed, you will receive an email with information about payment methods. You will receive the booking confirmation after we have confirmed your payment.
Because of many uncertainties related to the COVID-19 situation, we will not confirm bookings in more than ten days in advance, meaning you don’t have to pay any deposit before we are sure that the selected tour will be held.
Each Tour Page has a booking form. On this Booking form write your name, email and booking related information, such as the number of people on behalf you are booking.
When your booking form is submitted our office team will check everything about the tour feasibility. This means primarily that we have to take in consideration COVID-19 situation, and comply with the Croatian Institue of Public Health directives, which are submitted on a daily basis to all travel agencies. After such check is conducted you will be informed about the next step.
If Croatian Institue of Public Health directives are favourable and the tour can be performed, you will receive the booking confirmation email, and choose the payment method. When your payment is confirmed you are ready to go on the tour.
Lento Pedale Ltd, owner and operator of the urbanhikezagreb.com and sibeniktripsntours.com has changed the booking procedure for all tour, trips and cruises in 2020. Everybody that have paid their tours, trips or cruises with Lento Pedale in 2020 has been fully refunded. Lento Pedale Ltd. doesn’t use any kind of vouchers or internal credit accounts for tours, trips or cruises cancelled due to COVID-19 (Corona Virus) situation.
To reduce possible costs related to an uncertain second wave of the virus, re-activating state of quarantine in Croatia or any risk related to a world pandemic, Lento Pedale abolished direct payment gateways through operating web sites (urbanhikezagreb.com, sibeniktripsntours.com).
This is done to cut all transactional costs related to direct on web site payments and a possible refund in a case of cancellation of a tour, trip or cruise, related to COVID-19 situation, which can go up to 15% of the purchased price. Also if some of the arriving travellers are positive to Covid-19, she/he will be held from joining all tours, trips and cruises organised by Lento Pedale Ltd., and fully refunded.
Nevertheless, Lento Pedale offers a solution to this situation. The checkout system is replaced by the booking form in which you define your tour, trip or cruise and submit it to our office. Lento Pedale Service Team will contact you afterwards and inform you about all factors that affect your chosen tour, trip or cruise. When Lento Pedale staff is sure that tour, trip or cruise could be held, you will receive confirmation of your desired activity and a payment link embedded in booking confirmation email. When your payment is confirmed, the travel contract is active.
Lento Pedale and all of its staff apologize for such old fashioned way of purchasing our tours, trips or cruises, but we can ensure you that bookings for 2021, will be possible through our direct payment system on our web sites as it was before the lockdown.
